One of the students who was participating in the Snapchat group was scared enough to call 911 to report it and a law enforcement team later responded to the student’s home.

Police officers arrested the 10th-grade student and took him to the juvenile assessment center. He was facing a felony charge of electronic threats to kill.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases in Pembroke Pines to call 954‐431‐2200 or e-mail tips@ppines.com.
