MIAMI – A man is facing two felony charges in South Florida after authorities said he molested two teenage girls during a Miami-bound cruise.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies took Andrew Thurston, 25, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, into custody over the weekend after the MSC Seascape returned to PortMiami.
Deputies said it all happened at 1 a.m. Wednesday during a “white party” at sea on the cruise ship.
An MDSO arrest report states that a 15-year-old girl felt a hand grab her buttocks as she was dancing. Deputies said she turned around to see the 6-foot-8, 300-pound Thurston standing behind her.
Authorities said she saw Thurston go over to a 14-year-old girl and do the same thing.
“When she looked back, she observed (Thurston) touching the buttocks of another female who was in her group on the dance floor,” deputies said the 14-year-old told them.
The report doesn’t make clear whether the teen was referring to a third victim.
Authorities arrested Thurston on two charges of lewd and lascivious molestation at the MDSO office in Doral on Saturday.
They said he invoked his rights to an attorney. A judge later found probable cause for the charges.
Court records show Thurston was released after posting a $15,000 bond Sunday.
