The city has been working on the project east of the Miami International Airport with Arquitectonica, Adler Development, and Moss, the general contractor.

Arquitectonica designed the modern office building at 1802 NW 37 Ave., and a parking garage at 1822 NW 37 Ave., with nearly 900 spaces.

The building will be replacing the space lost after city officials deemed the Miami Riverside Center, at 444 SW 2 Ave., in Downtown Miami “obsolete” in 2015.

There was an initial plan to build it at 230 SW 3 St., but that changed in 2022. The project broke ground on Jan. 15 and it is scheduled for completion in 2027.

The soccer stadium is set to open in 2026. City officials plan to post updates on the project on this page.
