Police said the attacks were reported Sept. 16, 2024, at a business called Asian Massage.
According to an arrest report, Didier Emmanuel Gamble, of Miami, entered the business and asked how much a massage would be.
Police said an employee told him the price and Gamble then walked into a massage room with her.
According to the report, Gamble then pulled out a box cutter, put it to the victim’s neck, pulled down his pants and demanded that she perform oral sex on him.
Police said the victim complied, but when she noticed Gamble was becoming more relaxed, she took the opportunity to try to run away.
According to the report, Gamble slashed the victim in the neck with the box cutter as she was fleeing and screaming for help before she was able to lock herself inside another room.
The victim in that case recalled the terrifying attack when speaking to Local 10 News’ Rosh Lowe back in November.
”He takes my ear… scared… box cutter,” she said.
Police said a second woman heard the screams for help and ran to the room where the victim had locked herself inside of, but Gamble attacked her on the way, shoving her into a wall, punching her repeatedly in the face and biting her arm and ear before fleeing the scene with her cellphone.
Police said the bite to the ear was so severe that the victim’s right side earlobe was completely severed.
Surveillance video of the suspect was released to the media after the attack and a witness notified an officer in December that they recognized the suspect in the video and provided the officer with the suspect’s nickname.
Detectives said a relative of Gamble’s also identified him in the video, which showed him entering the business and later fleeing from the rear of the business.
Police said Gamble was taken into custody Tuesday and denied all accusations related to the attacks.
He was arrested on charges of armed sexual battery, armed robbery, aggravated battery and battery.
Gamble, who did not appear in Miami-Dade bond court on Wednesday, remains held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond, with his case rescheduled for Thursday.
