Session, also known as Shalamar Sessions, was convicted of 13 charges after a 9-day trial in September. His victims testified he used drugs, food, shelter, and abuse.

One of his victims said he dragged her to a shower to beat her in the head with a metal nutcracker. The violence also included punching and choking victims until they lost consciousness, beating them with a baseball bat, and holding their heads underwater.

A victim reported Session regularly displayed a firearm and on one occasion he threatened to kill her after she asked him how he would feel if someone treated his daughter the way he treated her.
