HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – An investigation is underway after a plane crashed at North Perry Airport in Fort Lauderdale.
It happened Sunday at around 2:30 p.m., with the aircraft coming to a rest upside down.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the single-engine Montaer aircraft lost power after take-off and crashed off the runway.
Authorities said a single pilot was on board, but there has been no update on his or her medical condition.
The aircraft appears to be registered to Bohemian Club LLC out of Wilmington, Delaware.
