WELLINGTON, Fla. – The store “Where shopping is a pleasure” has added another South Florida location recently attracting customers because of its special offerings.
The Publix location at Wellington Trace at the Courtyard Shops at Wellington opened its doors in November after a remodel and has gone viral because of all the extra services for customers.

According to a press release, the 58,834 square-foot store will offer departments for grocery, dairy, frozen food, seafood, meat and fresh produce as well as a full-service bakery, deli and pharmacy. Additional offerings include a Pours area, and burrito, pizza and pasta bars.
Pours at Publix is a concept launched which allows shoppers to buy draft beer, wine, coffee, tea, and smoothies.
According to Publix’s website, at Pours at Publix “you can enjoy a glass at our bar or take it with you while you shop. And whether it’s happy hour, Sunday fun day, or anytime, really, you can enjoy a drink at Pours.”
The concept is available at 16 locations in Florida including stores in Orlando, Clermont, Naples, Ormond Beach and Saint Augustine.
The second floor of the location also offers a dining area near a burrito and bowl station as well as a sushi bar.
“We look forward to welcoming our customers to their new Wellington Publix, introducing them to an array of new offerings and providing them with the service and quality products they know and love,” said Lindsey Willis, Publix media relations manager.
The Florida based supermarket chain has revamped several stores in the last year, including the Publix Super Market at the Crossings Shopping Village in West Kendall and a new store opened in Hialeah.
Publix is the largest employee-owned company in the U.S., with more than 250,000 associates. The company currently operates 1,351 stores in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.
