Records show a federal agent reported using a facial recognition law enforcement app to see right through Bogdanvale Atanasiuā€™s lies.

According to an arrest report, Atanasiu had been living at the Yacht Club at Aventura, and he tried using a Washington state driverā€™s license to pass as Robert Janksy during a traffic stop in North Miami Beach.

On Monday, Sunny Isles Beach Police Department detectives arrested Atanasiu at 4:30 p.m., and Miami-Dade County correctional officers booked him at 10 p.m.

On Tuesday, Atanasiu was at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center facing a new charge of possession of a skimming device.

County inmate records also show Atanasiu had an out-of-state fugitive warrant, a second warrant case with a U.S. Marshall hold, and a third with an immigration hold.

Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Laura Maria Gonzalez-Marques was set to preside over the cases.
