MIAMI – Authorities are investigating after a child fell from a high floor of an apartment building.
It happened Thursday night in the area of the 1200 block of Northwest 2nd Street in Miami.
According to police, a 5-year-old fell from a fifth floor window.
The child was rushed to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Authorities did not provide any information regarding the circumstances that led up to the child’s fall, or if anyone will be facing charges.
