AVENTURA, Fla. – A fire broke out Monday afternoon on the balcony of a unit at a condominium tower along the Aventura waterfront.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue dispatch records show the blaze broke out just after 3:30 at the 3030 Residences at 3030 NE 188th St.
Authorities said the fire was mostly contained to the third-floor balcony where it began, with “no extension.”
No one was hurt, but the fire did cause some exterior damage.
“At this time, it appears that a propane tank within the balcony ignited,” police said.
