The fire was reported just before 4:30 a.m. in the 13000 block of Southwest Eighth Street.

Noon report:

Sky 10 was above the scene at 6 a.m. as firefighters were still dousing the mobile home with water.

The battalion chief at the scene told Local 10′s Liane Morejon that two residents were home at the time. One was transported to a hospital in stable condition, while the other was unharmed.

The battalion chief confirmed that all three dogs that lived at the home have died.

Once the fire was out, investigators were able to comb through the scene -- even bringing K9 units to sniff for accelerant.

The fire proved to be stubborn, however, and somehow reignited just before 11 a.m., causing crews to return to the scene and put it out again.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
