FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Some big-hearted dogs with even bigger personalities are looking for forever homes at Abandoned Pet Rescue in Fort Lauderdale.
Among them are Cece and Lucy, two playful pups ready to bring joy to any family.
Cece, an energetic puppy with a knack for mischief, is eager for a home where she can get basic training and plenty of love.
Her companion, Lucy, has already overcome challenges after being rescued from a high-kill shelter.
Following an eye procedure, Lucy is healing beautifully and showing off her strength during spirited games of tug-of-war.
“These big girls are full of energy and love,” said Kara of Abandoned Pet Rescue. “They’re just two of the 35 dogs currently available for adoption.”
The rescue, a no-kill shelter dedicated to saving abandoned and neglected animals, also cares for a variety of cats and other pets.
The meet-and-greet area is a lively hub where potential adopters can interact with animals like Cece and Lucy, experiencing their personalities firsthand.
Local 10 Animal Advocate Jacey Birch, who recently visited the shelter, encouraged viewers to consider adopting one of the many pets in need.
“These dogs are ready to fill your home with love and laughter,” she said.
