Reward offered for information leading to arrest after man shot dead in Lauderhill

Police said shooting suspect remains at large

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Authorities are offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest after they said a man was killed after being gunned down in Lauderhill on Saturday.

Detectives identified the victim Monday as Romario McLaughlin.

The shooting happened right outside the Cypress Grove Apartments in the 4200 block of Northwest 19th Street at around 8:50 p.m.

A sergeant told Local 10 News that McLaughlin died from his injuries after being shot multiple times.

Video taken at the scene shows crime scene investigators in the area.

Police said the suspect remains at large and a motive for the shooting is not yet clear.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Lauderhill Police Department or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.

Tipsters can also remain anonymous and receive a cash reward of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to an arrest.
