DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – Over a dozen people, including three firefighters, were injured after a fire truck and a Brightline high-speed train collided on Saturday in downtown Delray Beach.
According to the Delray Beach Police Department, the crash was at about 10:40 a.m., between East Atlantic and Southeast First Avenues.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue personnel helped the 12 who suffered minor injuries on the train.
Delray Beach Fire Rescue rushed their colleagues on the ladder truck to a nearby hospital, police said.
Police officers blocked the area. The National Transportation Safety Board also responded. Brightline announced there were delays.
