A fugitive and the driver of a stolen car couldn’t get away from police on Saturday in Broward County.
According to Sgt. Parys Thomas, a spokesman for the Lauderhill Police Department, the pursuit started at West Sunrise Boulevard.

A Broward Sheriff’s Office helicopter followed the Toyota Tundra on Interstate 95 and Griffin Road before a crash ended the chase.
Isaac King II, the driver, and Terrance Thornton, a wanted fugitive, jumped out of the Toyota Tundra and ran away, police said.
BSO deputies in Dania Beach arrested King, 22, and Thornton, 20, and took them to the Broward County main jail in Fort Lauderdale.
King and Thornton are facing charges of grand theft auto, fleeing and eluding, leaving the scene of a crash, and resisting arrest.
