MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police are investigating shooting in southwest Miami-Dade that they said left four people hospitalized on Christmas Day.
The incident occurred just before 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Southwest 266th Street and 138th Court in the county’s Naranja area.
Detectives were seen working into the night, laying evidence markers, using flashlights to point at clues, and documenting the scene with photographs.
Before officers arrived, three of the victims were driven to a hospital in Homestead by a friend, police said.
According to investigators, two of those individuals were later airlifted to Jackson South Medical Center.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the fourth victim directly to the same hospital, where authorities confirmed that all four victims were listed in stable condition as of Thursday morning.
