Overturned tractor-trailer causes delays in northwest Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY – An overturned tractor-trailer on U.S. 27 near Chrome Avenue is causing significant delays for commuters in northwest Miami-Dade Wednesday morning, authorities confirmed.

Sky 10 flew over the crash on Okeechobee Road, where northbound traffic has slowed to an average speed of 25 mph. One lane remains open as authorities continue to direct traffic in the area.

Drivers are advised to plan for additional travel time or seek alternate routes to avoid the congestion.

Authorities have not yet revealed the cause of the crash or reported any injuries.
