OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one man injured Monday morning in Oakland Park.

According to BSO spokesman Carey Codd, the shooting was reported at 1:41 a.m. in the 4100 block of Northwest 21st Avenue.
A Local 10 News photojournalist was at the scene later in the morning after authorities had blocked off the area with crime scene tape.
Deputies were seen carrying bags of evidence at the scene.
Codd confirmed that Oakland Park Fire Rescue personnel also responded to the scene and transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.
He said deputies had provided emergency medical treatment to the victim until paramedics arrived.
The victim’s health status has not yet been released.
