Jason Atha, a dentist from Colorado, later admitted to making a deal with a federal undercover agent who he thought was a single mother who had been sexually abusing her daughter.

Federal agents arrested Atha on Aug. 9 at the Palm Beach International Airport and prosecutors charged him with attempted enticement of a minor and transportation of child pornography.

Atha pleaded guilty to both charges on Dec. 5. His sentencing is on March 11 before U.S. District Judge Aileen M. Cannon in Fort Pierce.

U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Miami-West Palm Beach and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office worked on the case.
