Some residents, include John Dolson, told Local 10 News they worry about any change that would reduce the city’s canopy.

City Commissioner Damian Pardo said he is opposed to “weakening the existing tree ordinance that combats urban heat, reduces flooding, and improves air quality. I strongly urge my colleagues on the Commission to prioritize broad public engagement before making decisions that could have long-term consequences for our community.”
