They landed at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport on Friday as they readied for the May event.

U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Scott Laux and Navy Lt. Cmdr. Lillian Montana showcased their FA-18 Super Hornet.

The event marks the second stop of their 2025 tour and is part of their winter visit.

“It’s pretty awesome. Obviously, we get personal enjoyment out of it, but, you know, flying a fighter jet is pretty awesome, but it’s really fantastic to be able to represent everyone in the United States Navy in the Marine Corps,” Laux said. “Our mission is to showcase the teamwork and professionalism of the Navy and the Marine Corps through flight demonstration and community outreach, while inspiring a culture of excellence and service to country.”

The Fort Lauderdale Air Show is scheduled for May 3 and 4.
