Video from Sky 10 showed a massive police presence at the school, located at 251 E. 47th St., just before 11:45 a.m.

Authorities said the threats involved “a bomb and a gun.”

Police said Monday afternoon that while the threats appeared to be unfounded, they were conducting a security sweep of the school as a precaution.

Authorities didn’t say whether they’ve identified the person or people who made them.

A Miami-Dade County Public Schools official told Local 10 News that the school district is investigating to see whether a student is responsible and what form of punishment they may receive.
