MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Retailers in Broward and Miami-Dade counties opened stores early in the morning for shoppers hunting for in-person Black Friday deals, but there weren’t any frenzied crowds.
There were already discounted items with even bigger discounts at Sawgrass Mills’s over 350 outlet stores in Sunrise and Dolphin Mall’s over 240 outlet stores in Sweetwater.
Home Depot, Lowe’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Macy’s, Target, and Walmart, and Best Buy opened at 6 a.m.
For those who didn’t need to try on clothes, shoes, or touch-or-feel items, online browsing and searching for Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounts had started before Thanksgiving.
