Rose McLean identified the victim as her unarmed husband, Hureleyon McLean, and said the shooting followed a dispute among neighbors.

“The guy said my husband was playing it too loud,” the grieving widow said.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded at about 3:30 p.m., to an apartment complex along Somerset Drive, in Lauderdale Lakes.

“He wasn’t sorry,” Rose McLean said about the gunman. “He was just standing looking at me with his gun in his hand.”

Rev. Tracy McCloud also responded, and he led a circle of prayer over Rose McLean on Thursday night.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
