Detectives search for driver after hit-and-run crash at Miami International Airport

MIAMI – Detectives searched for a driver who was involved in an early morning hit-and-run crash on Thanksgiving Day outside Miami International Airport.

Fire rescue personnel found a man injured after a driver struck him shortly before 3:55 a.m., at 2100 NW 42 Ave., and took him to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

According to Detective Andre D. Martin, a spokeswoman for the Miami-Dade Police Department, traffic homicide detectives were working on the case, and they had not released a description of the car involved.

Martin reported the victim’s condition was critical.
