MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A teenage boy was killed after being struck by a car in Miami-Dade County.
It happened Tuesday along Southwest 112th Avenue in the area of 232nd Street.
According to police, a 14-year-old boy was attempting to cross Southwest 112th Avenue when he was struck by a black Audi that was traveling north.
First responders pronounced the boy dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The driver of the Audi remained at the scene. There has been no word on whether they will face any charges.
Authorities shut down Southwest 112th Avenue while investigating the incident.
