A man was killed early Saturday morning after being struck by a tractor-trailer while attempting to cross Florida’s Turnpike in Miami-Dade County, authorities confirmed.
PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. — Fire rescue personnel responded to a car crash on Friday in Broward County’s Pines Boulevard and Flamingo Road intersection in Pembroke Pines.
The crash involved a car and an ambulance. Both a driver and a firefighter were taken to the hospital but weren’t seriously hurt.
The crash led to a power outage in the area, leading to backups with traffic lights out.
