On Wednesday morning, the woman told police officers Samuel Peña was back. She reported he was in a silver 2012 Hyundai following her and her son, as they were walking their dog near Little River.

Police officers found Peña, stopped him, and arrested him near Northeast 77 Street and Fourth Court. Miami-Dade correctional officers booked him Wednesday afternoon.

Peña appeared in Miami-Dade court Thursday and a judge denied him bond. He was facing charges of aggravated battery with great bodily harm and kidnapping.
