Miami-Dade man accused of planning to sexually abuse a child in Broward, records show

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A 70-year-old man who lives in Miami-Dade County’s Westchester neighborhood stands accused of preying on a child in Broward County.

Inmate records show Pembroke Pines police officers arrested David Paz on Monday and Broward Sheriff’s Office correctional deputies booked him at the main jail in Fort Lauderdale.

Paz faces charges of computer pornography, a second-degree felony; and travel to meet a minor after using a computer to lure a child, a third-degree felony.

A judge ordered him to surrender his passport and set his bond at $150,000.
