A cold front is set to clear the region Thursday morning. Northwest winds will drive a dose of chilly air over Miami-Dade and Broward Counties Thursday night.

The Florida Keys also will feel the cool change.

Friday morning, Miami-Dade and Broward can expect temperatures in the 50s. The forecast low for Miami is 56 degrees, which is about 10 degrees below normal for this time of year.

The last time Miami had a temperature that low was Feb. 26.

While the Florida Keys will not be as chilly, temperatures will tend to run below average with lows expected in the 60s.

The Local 10 Weather Authority team says the sweater weather will stick around through the weekend.

Plan for low temperatures in the 50s Saturday and Sunday. Sunshine will be plentiful and afternoons should feel delightful with highs expected in the 70s.
