Man killed, teen grazed after shooting in Homestead

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police in Miami-Dade County are investigating a deadly shooting.

According to Miami-Dade police, officers from the Homestead Police Department responded to reports of a shooting along the 600 block of Southwest 8th Street just before 9 p.m. Monday.

Officers said they found a man who had been shot, as well as a 16-year-old girl who was grazed by a bullet.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Miami-Dade Police’s Homicide Bureau is investigating the shooting.
