Drone video shows police respond to shooting that left 1 dead, teen hurt in Homestead

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police in Miami-Dade County are investigating a deadly shooting.

According to Miami-Dade police, officers from the Homestead Police Department responded to reports of a shooting along the 600 block of Southwest Eighth Street just before 9 p.m. Monday.

Local 10 News obtained drone video from HomesteadCrimes, when officers arrived at the scene and said they found a man who had been shot, as well as a 16-year-old girl who was grazed by a bullet.

11 p.m. report:

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

MDPD’s Homicide Bureau is investigating the shooting and no more details about the victims were immediately released.
