STOCK ISLAND, Fla. – A New Port Richey woman is facing multiple charges after she allegedly used her vehicle to assault a man during a domestic dispute on Stock Island early Wednesday morning, authorities confirmed Thursday.

Deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said they arrested Alexandria Jade Santana, 30, after responding to reports of a violent altercation involving a vehicle on Shrimp Road at approximately 12:15 a.m.

Authorities said they were alerted to the scene following reports that Santana had attempted to strike a 32-year-old man with her vehicle during an escalating argument.

She also struck the victim’s work vehicle with her vehicle several times before leaving the scene, according to MCSO spokesman Adam Linhardt. He also confirmed that there were three children in Santana’s vehicle at the time of the incident.

Deputies also confirmed no serious injuries were reported among the individuals involved, though both vehicles sustained visible damage.

Following the confrontation, investigators confirmed that Santana left Shrimp Road, but deputies located her shortly after as they began canvassing the area.

Linhardt said Santana was taken into custody without incident and later transported to a jail in Monroe County.

Jail records show Santana faces one count each of aggravated assault, hit-and-run, and child neglect.

MCSO has not released further details about the nature of the domestic dispute or Santana’s relationship with the victim, though they confirmed that the investigation remains active.

Her arraignment date is set for Dec. 6.

Local 10 News has also requested Santana’s arrest report from the MCSO.
