Christina Wan’s in Fort Lauderdale closes after nearly 30 years

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Christina Wan’s Mandarin House closed its doors quietly over the weekend, after serving guests for more than 28 years.

The restaurant announced the Sunday, Nov. 10 closure on its website.

The restaurant was located at 664 North Federal Highway in the Victoria Park neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale.

It was voted Best Chinese Food in Fort Lauderdale by Best of Fort Lauderdale in 2021.

According to the restaurant’s website, the Wan family also had a location in Fort Lauderdale at 1201 North Federal Highway from 1986 to 1993. Before that, the family served guests at a Miami location off of Southwest 8th Street, beginning in 1966.
