MIAMI – A man was hospitalized early Monday morning after being shot in a parking lot in the city of Miami, authorities confirmed.
According to Officer Michael Vega, a spokesman for the police department, the shooting was reported just after 5 a.m. at 1064 W. Flagler St.

Sky 10 was above the scene later in the morning after police had blocked off the parking lot with crime scene tape.
Vega confirmed that the victim – identified only as a 45-year-old man – was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.
He said the victim was alert and conscious.
No other details were immediately released.
