Mother wants police to catch the man who attempted to abduct her daughter in Homestead

HOMESTEAD, Fla. – Jennifer Arroyo said a strange man attempted to abduct her daughter on Halloween night in Homestead and she fears he is a dangerous predator who is trying to hurt someone.

The thin man with white medium length hair and a white buzz beard was in his mid to late 60s; around 5 feet 4 inches tall; and may have been driving a white truck.

“He tried this once; he will try it again,” Arroyo said.

The man said his wife needed help and then tried to grab her to abduct her outside of the Marshalls at the Homestead Towne Square, at 817 North Homestead Boulevard.

“He was trying to get her to get closer to his vehicle so he can take her,” Arroyo said.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
