FDLE: 5-year-old found safe weeks after disappearance

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. ā€“ A Missing Child Alert has been canceled Tuesday for a 5-year-old girl from Jacksonville after police said Amira Wentz was found safe.

According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Amira had last been seen on Sept. 23 in the 3600 block of Philips Highway.

Before she was found, detectives said they believed she may be with 43-year-old Jessica Dambrogio and traveling in a 2005, white Honda Accord with a Georgia tag.

Police did not immediately confirm whether Amira was found with Dambrogio. They also did not release the location where she was found.
