FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A large police scene was spotted Friday outside a home in Fort Lauderdale.
SWAT team members were seen outside a home in the 1600 block of Northwest Seventh Avenue, just east of I-95 and just south of Sunrise Boulevard.
Sky 10 was above the scene shortly before noon as Fort Lauderdale police officers and Miami Beach police officers were working together.
Sources told Local 10 News that Fort Lauderdale police were assisting Miami Beach police in serving a search warrant.
A Local 10 photojournalist was in the area as officers removed someone from the back of a police car and removed the handcuffs on that person.
No details about the police activity were immediately released by police.
