MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were hospitalized Friday afternoon after a fire erupted on the boat they were on.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials, firefighters responded to the 1200 block of Northeast 79th Street and found a boat fully engulfed in flames.

Officials said firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the flames, and two people were transported by ground to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.
No other details were immediately released.
