HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Police officers are searching for the bearded Halloween Grinch.
A victim in the jurisdiction of the Hollywood Police Department shared surveillance video of the man who has stolen gargoyles, tombstones, wreaths, and other front yard decorations.
“We decorate for the kids that come by,” resident Joe Pierce said. “This neighborhood is loaded with children, and they come by and they love what we do.”
Pierce said the thief targeted his home at 4:30 a.m. Local 10 News first aired the video on Wednesday. The crime puzzled Caitlin Thurber, a Hollywood resident.
“I don’t know what he’s planning on doing with them,” Thurber said.
