MIAMI – Authorities are investigating after a body was discovered Thursday morning on the side of the Julia Tuttle Causeway in Miami.
Sky 10 was above the scene, just east of Biscayne and spotted a white tarp covering the victim’s body on a grassy area right to the side of the eastbound lanes of the causeway.

The Florida Highway Patrol was the first at the scene and requested assistance from the Miami Police Department.
Miami police Officer Kiara Delva, who is also a spokeswoman for MPD, said they are still working to gather information to determine whether their agency will take the lead in the investigation.
