WEST PARK, Fla. – Authorities say two suspects carjacked a Lamborghini SUV in Aventura and ditched the vehicle in a West Park neighborhood Wednesday.
Authorities took one of the suspects into custody after the bailout near Southwest 19th Street and 46th Avenue.
The suspects ditched the luxury ride right in front of Eric Udell’s home. Home surveillance video shows the suspects speeding up the street.
“I actually thought they were going to hit the house,” Udell said.
Udell said he was worried about his family inside.
“I didn’t know if (the suspects) were armed or something,” he said.
Udell said, “The first thing that came through my mind was that they wanted to come in the house and rob the house.”
Police haven’t publicly identified those involved and haven’t confirmed exactly where the carjacking happened.
