MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A person was hospitalized Tuesday night after being hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle in northwest Miami-Dade, authorities confirmed.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Northwest 31st Avenue and Northwest 43rd Terrace.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue confirmed the pedestrian was transported to a nearby trauma center following the crash.
A Local 10 News crew was at the scene, where Miami-Dade police officers were surveying the area, focusing on a mini bike lying in the middle of the road that appeared to be involved in the crash.
Police have not disclosed whether the incident was a hit-and-run or if any arrests were made following the crash.
