MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – One person was airlifted to a hospital Tuesday morning from a tug/supply ship in Government Cut.
Sky 10 was above the scene just after 10 a.m. as the victim was hoisted from the ship named Atlantic Power onto a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue helicopter.
MDFR officials confirmed the call came in as a “hazardous situation, involving a vessel in distress.”
Officials said the victim was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.
No other details were immediately released.
