MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – An 80-year-old woman was lying on the ground and screaming for help after a fall, police say. They say when her tenant came up, she asked him to call an ambulance.
Instead, the 37-year-old sexually battered her, an arrest report states.

According to Miami-Dade police, the attack against the helpless senior happened on Tuesday after the senior fell while cooking. Police arrested Erick Garcia-Gutierrez on Saturday.
The arrest report doesn’t state which area of the county the incident happened in, but references a zip code that includes areas immediately west and northwest of the Miami city limits.
Police said during the attack, the woman asked Garcia-Gutierrez “several times to stop,” but he refused and continued the assault.
As of Monday, Garcia-Gutierrez was being held without bond on a charge of sexual battery of a physically helpless person, a first-degree felony.
The Nicaraguan national was also detained on an immigration hold.
