MIAMI – Miami police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Thursday afternoon outside a popular brewery.
According to authorities, the stabbing was reported shortly before 1:40 p.m. outside La Tropical brewery, located at 42 NE 25th St.
Officer Kiara Delva, who is also a spokeswoman for the police department, said the victim was a Hispanic man in his 30s who was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
She said one person was detained for questioning.
Authorities said the victim and the person police detained are said to have known each other.
No other details were immediately released.
