FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A body was found floating over the weekend in the New River in Fort Lauderdale, authorities confirmed.
According to Fort Lauderdale police, the body was discovered in the water just before 5 p.m. off Southeast Fourth Street.
Fort Lauderdale police officers and Fire Rescue personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
Officials say there were no apparent signs of foul play.
No other details were immediately released about the victim.
