MIAMI – A 69-year-old man living on the streets of Miami is accused of going on a vehicle vandalism spree — while already on probation for a previous auto vandalism case.
Miami police again arrested Patrick Hennessy on Thursday. He’s facing a slew of felony and misdemeanor criminal mischief charges.

Police said Hennessy, on probation since July 24, is suspected in at least 20 vandalism cases in the downtown, Brickell and Little Havana neighborhoods in September and October.
According to arrest reports, Hennessy has the same modus operandi: He carves the initials “LLX” deep into the doors of each vehicle, often causing damage that costs more than $1,000 to repair.
In some cases, police said he was caught committing the crimes on surveillance video.
Authorities said his latest spree came to an end on Thursday, when he was caught vandalizing a GMC Yukon parked at the Hyatt Regency Downtown, located at 400 SE Second Ave., and arrested after an employee called police.
Police said Hennessy, after being taken into custody, declined to speak with investigators without an attorney.
As of Friday afternoon, Hennessy was being held in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a bond of more than $50,000, online jail records show.
