Broward Center, The Parker, Usher reschedule performances and classes due to Hurricane Milton

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Due to the impact of Hurricane Milton, Usher, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and The Parker have updated their performance and class schedules.

  • Taj Farrant, originally set for Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Broward Center, has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon. Tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled performance. Refunds will be available after the new date is announced, but only the original buyer can request one via the Broward Center or Ticketmaster.
  • The Student Enrichment Through the Arts program for Broward County public school students, originally scheduled for Oct. 9 and 10, has been delayed. SEAS performances will now begin on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
  • In Miami-Dade, Usher’s “Past Present Future Tour” at the Kaseya Center has been rescheduled due to inclement weather from Hurricane Milton.

The Oct. 11 show will be rescheduled for Dec. 16, Oct. 12 will be rescheduled for Dec. 18, and Oct. 14 will be rescheduled for Dec. 19.

In Miami-Dade, Usher’s “Past Present Future Tour” at the Kaseya Center has been rescheduled due to inclement weather from Hurricane Milton.

The Oct. 11 show will be rescheduled for Dec. 16, Oct. 12 will be rescheduled for Dec. 18, and Oct. 14 will be rescheduled for Dec. 19.

Rescheduled:

  • An Evening with David Sedaris, initially scheduled for Oct. 10 at The Parker, has been moved to Tuesday, December 3. Tickets for the original date are still valid. Refunds are available before Nov. 4 if needed.
  • El Gran Combo, originally set for Friday, Oct. 11 at the Broward Center, has been rescheduled for Sunday, Dec. 1. Existing tickets will be honored. Refunds are available before Nov. 4.
  • Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 11 at The Parker, has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 15. Tickets will remain valid. Refunds can be requested before Nov. 4.
  • Classes at the Rose Miniaci Arts Education Center on Oct. 8 and 9 have been canceled. Registered students will be notified of the new class dates via email.
