MIAMI – Police have named a person of interest in the shooting of a popular Cuban rapper.
Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger, whose real name is Jose Manuel Carvajal, was found last Thursday morning with a gunshot wound to his head.
He was in the back of a Mercedes SUV that was parked near Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Police said investigators want to speak to 49-year-old Damian Valdez-Galloso.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call Miami police.
Carvajal remains in critical condition.
