MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Records show a man told Miami Beach police officers that he was afraid of Fatima Lawrence. He was dealing with a case of “hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” in South Beach.
According to an arrest report, the man said Lawrence’s wrath had started after their polyamorous relationship ended about a year ago.

The man reported Lawrence, 36, had showed up unannounced at his home along Euclid Avenue, she had thrown a drink at his face at a restaurant, and threatened to do the same again — but with bleach.
When police officers arrested Lawrence after the man reported she had broken into his home claiming he had her stuff, police officers noted she had a “Clorox bleach and a clear squirt-top bottle filled with bleach.”
Police officers reported Lawrence resisted arrest when they arrested her on Monday night in South Beach and the man had submitted copies of text messages as evidence of stalking.
Miami-Dade County inmate records show correctional officers booked Lawrence early Tuesday morning at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and she remained there on Thursday afternoon.
Prosecutors filed a case against Lawrence on six charges: Attempted burglary of an occupied dwelling, battery on a police officer, two counts of resisting an officer with violence, written threats to kill or cause bodily injury, and stalking. Her bond was $23,000.
